These steel fixings are available in a concrete foot or ground spike option to ensure you can fix your Aluminium Fence Post to suit your project. 

This item can only be purchased as part of the Aluminium Fence Post Kit or the 6ft x 6ft Fence Panel. 

Please note that the information contained in the following installation tips is based on standard installation situations. Due to the diversity of conceivable foundation conditions and fence sizes, not every individual possibility can be considered. These tips are intended as a guide only, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure these products are installed correctly with care given to individual and environmental requirements.

For Ground Spike Installation:

1. Dig out square holes of at least 30x30cm to a sufficient minimum depth of 40cm for each ground spike
2. Dig the following holes centre to centre apart using the fence board as a guide
3. Position the ground anchors in the centre of the holes ensuring the middle plate levels with the ground
4. Run a piece of string from the first anchor to the last to make sure they are positioned square to each other
5. Finally, fill the holes with concrete and make sure every post base is 100% level
6. The fence boards MUST have a 4mm gap (either side) inside the post slots for thermal expansion

For Concrete Foot installation:

1. Place the concrete feet centre to centre apart using the fence board as a guide
2. Locate the pilot holes, ensuring every base is 100% level
3. Pre-drill the concrete ground using a 12mm drill bit
4. Fix the concrete feet to the ground using expansion bolt M10x70 (included in the kit).

Our aluminium posts are made to fit our Composite Capped and Standard Fencing boards; we cannot guarantee the posts can be used with fence boards sourced from another supplier.
